If you are looking for something to do with all your extra Halloween candy, this is something super easy to make. It’s also a good way to get kids in the kitchen and maybe persuade them into giving away some of their candy. (That is if you plan on giving these treats away like I did.)
This is as simple as brownie mix plus candy. You can use any kind of brownie batter you want, homemade or a box. I was in a rush to make these for a party so I went with a box.
Mix up your batter and set aside while you grease your cupcake pan. Fill each well halfway and then add a bite size piece of candy in each well. I did a pattern so I could remember which was which. Finally, cover each piece of candy with another half scoop of batter and bake as directed. I like chewy brownies, so I under-bake just a little.
The snickers nougat bubbled up and out, but it tasted so good!
I served mine up cut in half so everyone could see what they were getting into!
