Honey Almond Flax Butter


  • 3 cups Almonds
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tbsp Flax Seeds

Place all almonds flat on a baking sheet. Roast in the oven at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until golden brown inside. Let almonds cool.

Place almonds, oil, honey, and flax into food processor. Be sure to take breaks to mix ingredients and ensure blades are able to reach everything. Do not let your food processor get overworked. More oil should be added if butter is not mixing smoothly.

After butter is smooth, store in container in the fridge. By the next day you should be able to remove some of the oil that has separated.

Although it can be served many ways, I like to eat this delicious butter on tart crisp apples and it is fun to make cookie cutouts for kids or just for a fun presentation if serving to a group.
