Prosciutto Fig Bites

These things are little bites of heaven. They take these wonderful Mediterranean ingredients and roll them into one and you will definitely feel like you are eating the fruit of the gods. Plus they are super simple and fast!

Here is what you will need!

  • Ripe Figs
  • Prosciutto
  • Goat Cheese
  • Honey

Simple 4 ingredient recipe!

So take your washed and dried figs and cut them in half, top to bottom. Next, place a small dollop (to your cheese level preference) of goat cheese. Slice a ribbon of prosciutto, about and inch wide, and wrap that around the fig and cheese. You shouldn’t need a toothpick for it to stick, but if you are having issues feel free to use one. Drizzle with a little bit of honey. (I only used one tablespoon for the whole batch.) Finally space your figs on a baking sheet and put them in the oven at High Broil for about 3-4 mins. I like to check mine and rotate the baking sheet for even coloring. Then you are done! Serve warm!

I believe that great ingredients make for great food. I got my figs, goat cheese and honey at the farmers market. There are some really talented artisans there and you can’t beat their quality and price. Check out Drake Family Farms if you are in the area and looking for some great goat cheese. They have locations in California and Utah.
