The Twisted Braid

This hairstyle combines two easy styles, the braid and the rope. To start, divide hair into three sections like you would for a standard braid. Take each section of hair and split into two. Twist each of the two sections clockwise down to the ends. Then taking your two clockwise twists, twist the pieces together counter-clockwise. Going the opposite direction is what locks these ropes in place.

After you have done this with the three sections of your hair, braid your ropes together. The effect is similar to that of a fishtail braid, but more chunky and somewhat rugged. I finished Tori’s hair with a cute little bow that complimented her blonde locks.
